Fatima Photography operates a private, indoor photo studio located in Basildon, Essex. Our studio is a dedicated, female-led portrait space designed exclusively for private client sessions—including family portraits, headshots, milestone birthdays, newborn, and maternity photography. (Please note: The studio is reserved for private photography sessions with Fatima and is not available for hourly external venue hire.)
How many images will I receive from my studio session?
After your shoot, you will receive access to a private online proofing gallery to view your retouched portraits and select your favorite images. You can choose from our tiered digital packages or opt to purchase your full gallery:
Session Fee (£125): Includes your 30-minute studio shoot and 2 complimentary retouched digital photos.
Package 1: 3 additional digital photos for £150
Package 2: 8 additional digital photos for £250
Package 3: 15+ full gallery digital photos for £450
What should we wear for our studio portraits and do you provide outfits?
For a clean, modern aesthetic under studio lighting, we recommend solid black or white clothing, as well as soft pinks, blues, and deep reds for a rich splash of color. You don't need to worry about buying special outfits for every shoot—we provide a complimentary, curated wardrobe of maternity dresses, gowns, and baby outfits that are thoroughly washed and sanitised between every client.
What is the turnaround time for receiving our studio photo gallery?
From your shoot date to final gallery delivery, professional editing typically takes up to 3 weeks during busy seasons, though we always aim for a faster turnaround. High-resolution retouched digital files are delivered via a secure, password-protected online link.
How do I book a studio photoshoot and what are your payment options?
To book your studio session, simply reach out via our contact form or call 07460837521 to check calendar availability. Once your preferred date is selected, a signed digital agreement and session deposit fee confirm your booking. We accept Bank Transfer (BACS), Debit/Credit Cards, PayPal, and Cash, with flexible, interest-free payment plans available upon request.
