ELEGANCE, FASHION & TRADITION: JUDY & SULTAN’S PRESTED HALL ENGAGEMENT


An engagement is the beautiful beginning of a family’s legacy, and celebrating that milestone in a setting that matches the significance of the occasion makes all the difference. Judy and Sultan’s stunning Muslim engagement celebration took place at the historic Prested Hall near Colchester. A venue that provides the perfect blend of English manor elegance and exclusive privacy.

From the rich burgundy and forest green color palette to the deeply meaningful cultural details, every element of Judy and Sultan's day was designed with intention and executed with quiet, editorial luxury.

High-Fashion Details & Timeless Prested Hall Architecture


The fashion for this celebration was nothing short of breathtaking. Judy looked regal in a bespoke burgundy gown featuring intricate lace detailing, dramatic layered sleeves, and a matching hijab, accessorized with gold heels and a striking floral bouquet of deep red roses and calla lilies . Sultan complemented her perfectly in a double-breasted forest green suit with a crisp white collar.

We made full use of Prested Hall's historic features for their portrait session. Framing the couple against the grand, ornate timber fireplace inside the manor, twirling along the rustic wooden bridge over the grounds, and utilizing the weeping willow trees created a set of portraits that feel like a high-fashion editorial spread.

Honoring Tradition with Custom Details & Zamzam Favors


Cultural celebrations thrive on thoughtful details and sacred traditions. The reception room at Prested Hall was transformed with a dramatic deep red drape backdrop, white chiavari seating, and long banquet tables adorned with lace runners, floating candles, and rich floral arrangements.

One of the most touching aspects of the day was the personalized touch given to their guests. From the custom welcome easel and bespoke mirrored ring tray featuring Arabic calligraphy (Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim) to the individual bottles of Zamzam water gifted to family and friends with custom labels reading "A Gift of Zamzam - Please keep us in your duas", the celebration was steeped in faith, hospitality, and joy.
